The Greene County Tennis Association will be hosting the 15th annual Women's Tennis Super Scrimmage Extravaganza #4 on Saturday, August 16th at the Greene Central High School Tennis Complex. The six teams entered include Leesville Road, North Lenoir, Southern Nash, East Duplin, East Carteret, and the host Lady Rams of Greene Central. Each team will play three doubles matches and two singles matches. Pro-8 sets will be played in singles and doubles.
USTA North Carolina will be hosting a Play Day for the Winston-Salem Open Tournament on Wednesday, August 20th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Wake Forest Indoor Tennis Center for ages 13-18.
There will be match play for all participants. Players must be able to serve, sustain a rally, and keep score. All participants will receive a ticket to the afternoon session of the 2014 Winston-Salem Open.
The North Carolina Coaches Association will be hosting its annual clinic for high school tennis coaches on Wednesday, July 23rd at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. The on-court sessions will be held on the UNC-G tennis courts. The classroom sessions are scheduled for room #114 in the School of Education building.

The four teams entered are Washington, Charles B. Aycock, Eastern Wayne, and Currituck County. Each team will scrimmage against the other three teams. Pro-8 sets will be played in singles and doubles.
The Winston-Salem Open will host the Brenner Children's Hospital Kids' Day on Saturday, August 16th. This is a fun and engaging event with tennis activities for all ability levels run by USTA North Carolina.
